Everyday Rhetoric develops literacy initiatives that strengthen how individuals, families, schools, and communities interpret texts, objects, and the systems shaping everyday life.
Family Literacy
Workshops and guided learning sessions for caregivers and young children (Infant–Grade 2). These sessions strengthen early language development, reading routines, and foundational literacy habits within the home. Parents participate directly and learn strategies to support vocabulary development, storytelling, and early print awareness.
Structured Literacy Campaign
Small-group literacy cohorts designed for students in Grades 3–12. The program focuses on strengthening reading comprehension, writing clarity, and structured argument development. Students are placed through brief diagnostics and work within skill-based cohorts that build literacy stamina and analytical thinking. Everyday Rhetoric also offers specialized test prep for grades 3-8. Learn More.
Adult Literacy Campaign

Community Literacy Project
Community-based literacy initiatives exploring history, material culture, family traditions, and land stewardship. These projects encourage participants to interpret the stories embedded in local environments and cultural practices while strengthening collective knowledge and cultural memory.
