Everyday Rhetoric offers professional development and learning workshops that support reading, writing, and language development across grade levels. The workshops help educators strengthen literacy instruction by connecting everyday language practices—speaking, questioning, explaining, and revising ideas—to the academic expectations students encounter in school.
Rather than introducing scripted programs, the workshops help teachers refine the instruction they already provide by making the relationship between talk, reading, and writing more visible in the classroom. Each session is grounded in classroom realities and aligned with New York State ELA expectations, with high school workshops also supporting Regents, SAT, and ACT readiness.
Schools may participate through individual workshops, grade-level series, or schoolwide literacy days tailored to their instructional goals.
